Mount Cathedral Winery
Mount Cathedral Vineyards was established in 1995 on the north face of Mount Cathedral in the beautiful Acheron Valley and is situated one hundred kilometres north east of Melbourne. Our award winning winery produces premium quality Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a classic Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Mount Cathedral Vineyards wines are produced only from their estate grown fruit and are fermented, vinified and aged in the highest quality french oak barrels on their own estate.
Philip Lobley Wines
The high-density vineyard consists of Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Nebiollo. Wines are hand crafted in small batches. Our wines undergo wild yeast fermentation and are not filtered or fined. “Our aim is to produce wines that reflect our sense of place here in Glenburn.”
Little Cathedral
The 10 acre vineyard is planted exclusively to Pinot Noir (MV6) and since taking it over in 2006 we have embraced the challenge of understanding the unique character & growing habits of our vines in order to produce premium quality grapes. And the fruit gives us the starting point for some truly wonderful wines, including Pinot Rose and Pinot Noir table wines, as well as a Sparkling Blanc de Noir.
