Mountain Bike Trails have evolved over many years at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, culminating in 2019 with the launch of the cascades trial. Cascades is a single-track adventure taking you from the Resort Village all the way to Marysville on incredible single-track terrain. It is 29km of thrilling, challenging and incredible riding that will bring you back time after time.

Flying Fox

Zip through the treetops, enjoying the view while you experience the thrill of our 240m dual flying fox alongside your friends and family. Available all year round, this popular attraction is worth booking early to beat the crowds.

Tube Run

Slide and spin down our 100m Tube Run in one of our giant inflated tubes. Loads of fun for little kids and big kids too. Go it alone or double up with the kids. Three rides are only $10 per person. Available all year round.

Bushwalks

Our little mountain offers some of the best bushwalking near Melbourne, with an extensive number of well marked, well-maintained hiking trails that make exploring Victoria’s alpine landscape easy. Well-marked and well-maintained, these trails are full of spectacular views and include plenty of places for a relaxing picnic.

Cross Country Skiing

With more than 35km of well signposted and groomed trails, Lake Mountain has some of Australia’s best cross country skiing. We’re also able to guarantee snow during winter thanks to the latest in European snow making technology.

Snowplay

With the closest snow to Melbourne (2 hour drive from Melbourne), our little mountain is the easiest way to let your kids enjoy the fun of building a snowman or tobogganing down a slope. It’s a great big day for your children as they experience snow for either the first time or they could be experienced snow bunnies, either way every kid has a smile from ear to ear on Lake Mountain. Your kids days will be full of snow play, which includes our kid friendly toboggan run, a big time favourite for the little ones.
